Olayiwola Fagbemi
Founder & Automation Strategist
Olayiwola founded SMOSYN Digitals after working across environments where the quality of systems directly affected the quality of people's lives. His background spans brand merchandising, customer service operations, and health and social care – three fields that, on the surface, look very different. But they share one requirement: processes that work reliably, every time, without shortcuts.
What Health & Social Care Actually Taught Me About AI
Health and social care taught something that most tech founders never learn: how to design processes that genuinely cannot fail.
In care environments, a missed step isn't an inconvenience – it's a risk to someone's safety and dignity. Every handover, every record, every escalation had to be precise, consistent, and human-centred. You learn to think in systems – to spot gaps before they become failures, and to build workflows that hold even under pressure.
That discipline is exactly what I bring to AI automation. The same rigour I applied to care plans and safeguarding protocols, I now apply to workflow architecture. When I design an automation for a UK business, I'm thinking about what happens when it breaks, who it affects, and how to build in the right checkpoints.
"That is not a background most automation consultants have. It is the foundation everything at SMOSYN is built on."
This empathy-first approach – designing systems around people, not just efficiency – is what makes SMOSYN different. Every workflow we build is meant to be understood, maintained, and trusted by the humans who depend on it.
